As the fog haze weather getting worse and the consumption of fossil fuels increasing, under the double pressures of environmental degradation and economic development, hydrogen as a kind of ideal and new association energy, having gotten more and more get people’s attention with its unique nature. Hydrogen cars in the automobile industry is gradually developing, High pressure pneumatic pressure reducing valve is a key element of hydrogen energy vehicles. High pressure reduces the operation stability of the pressure reducing valve. In this paper, we design a pilot balance type high pressure pneumatic proportional pressure reducing valve to improve the stability, the main valve uses the balanced structure and the forerunner level adopts pneumatic half bridge structure。According to the working principle of pressure reducing valve, design of high pressure pneumatic pressure reducing valve by using CAD software to draw2d asse mbly drawing on the basis of the theory of gas resistance and series-parallel, and int roduce its structure characteristic and working principle. To establish the mathemati cal model of high pressure pneumatic pressure reducing valve, lay the foundation fo r the back of the simulation analysis. Using the Fluent software simulate the main v alve port flow channel, and analyze the flow field characteristics. Using AMESim s tudy on static and dynamic characteristics of pressure reducing valve, and analysis of main parameters on the influence of the pressure reducing valve dynamic respons e and steady state performance, which provides a basis for the reasonable selection of the structural parameters of the valve.Analyzing and simulating the main parameters influncing the properties of the pressure reducing valve, obtaining some useful conclusions from the simulation results. The flow field distribution of the main valve port is uniform and the stability is achieved in a very short time, the small eddy phenomenon appears at the wall rectangular, the energy loss is small. The dynamic response is well and the outlet pressure can achieve its stability in0.1s. Increasing the quality of valve core、the reset spring stiffness of pilot valve and main valve is conducive to the valve’s stability.
