High pressure pneumatic reducing valve is the key component of high pressurepneumatic technology, can adjust input high pressure to the set pressure less thaninput pressure and export it in the system. For high pressure compressed gas havingspecial characteristics, it flows in the pressure reducing valve which is a complexand variable quality of the thermodynamic process, and also loss energy. This thesisdesign the structure and analyze the working principle of a pilot-operated pneumaticproportional high pressure reducing valve from pilot portion,main valve part,sealingand other aspects; deduce the energy loss formula of pressure reducing valvethrottling process with laws of thermodynamics, actual gas state equation, theentropy and exergy energy analysis. Establish mathematical model and simulationmodel of some parameters that affect the energy consumption and performance ofhigh pressure pneumatic reducing valve, simulate and analyze each parameters onenergy consumption and performance.The main contents of this thesis as follows:In chapter1, application, characteristics and the development tendency ofpneumatic technology are summarized. The current researches on high pressurereducing valve are presented. The aim and significance of research are explained.The main research contents are introduced.In chapter2, introduce the structural characteristics and working principle ofpilot-operated pneumatic proportional high pressure reducing valve. Propose that thecurrent capacity stabilizer can improve pressure control accuracy, and spring forcefeedback and self-sealing function are taken by the main valve spool. The valve sealdesign is described in detail.In chapter3, introduce the properties of the gas, deduce entropy productionequation and exergy loss equation of the actual high pressure gas throttling with theactual gas state equation and the thermodynamic energy analysis method, offer mathformulas to calculate and simulate energy loss of high pressure pneumatic reducingvalve.In chapter4, as to the principle of pilot-operated pneumatic proportional highpressure reducing valve, establish mathematic model and transfer function ofproportional solenoid including amplifiers, and also the mathematic model ofpilot-operated pneumatic proportional high pressure reducing valve. In chapter5, use the Matlab/Simulink software to program and build simulationmodel on the conditions of energy loss formulas and mathematical model of pressurereducing valve. Simulate and analyze energy loss, static characteristics and dynamiccharacteristics, and get their simulation curves. Analyze some main parameters toaffect the energy consumption, dynamic response and steady-state characteristics.At the end, some conclusions are summarized and the next research work aresuggested.
