EMUs has more fault types and occurred more frequently, when running at high speed, a event is likely to cause heavy casualties, brings to the society irreparable economic losses. EMU braking and its related systems is very important to the reliability, stability and safety of the EMUs, Therefore, to take a risk managementthe to the brake and its related systems, can effectively reduce its the failure probability and the risk degree, and greatly enhance the reliability, stability and safety of the EMUs. So, it is very important to establish a simple and practical failure risk evaluation system of the EMU brake and its related systems.In this paper, the author will start from the establishment of the risk assessment process, try to put out general methods and steps of the EMU system risk management, then take the Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis and the Fault tree analysis of a domestic EMU braking and its related system project as a case. In addition,the author will introduce the analytic hierarchy process (ahp) and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method in the risk assessment of a EMU. Then the author take a domestic EMU as a case, made a appropriate, suitable risk evaluation and risk events for the EMU braking and related system, and finished the risk analysis and evaluation of the EMU braking and related system reasonably and objective reasonably. At last, the author will Use the c#programming language, and build a fuzzy hierarchy risk assessment system of the domestic EMU braking and related system, realize the data collection and processing efficiency, improve the accuracy. In order to achieve on the efficiency of data collection and processing, and to improve the calculation accuracy.This paper contact The method of the basic theory of risk management and the risk management based on the failure of the EMU braking and its related systems, established a set of simple and practical failure risk assessment system,i mproved the safety of the emu system.
