The electric brake of aircraft offers a variety of potential advantages over the conventional hydraulic brake in many respects, such as eliminating brake fire, reducing the weight of aircraft, lowering maintenance cost and improving the control effect of brake torque. It is the direction of next generation of braking system. The research of electric brake abroad begins in the 1980's , but seldom is done in our country. This dissertation investigates the electric brake thoroughly. The research includes:1. Investigate the operational principle and the structure of the electric brake, establish the model of every part of it, specially investigate deeply the parts: electric actuator and brake torque feedback, make clear of the concrete structure of it and finish the calculation of the design.2. Considering the deficiency of present control laws and the characters of electric brake use intelligent control method-fuzzy control to design the control system of it. The result of simulation demonstrates: the model is correct and valid; using fuzzy control can get good control effect; electric brake has advantages over hydraulic brake actually.
