Switched Reluctance Motor Drive is a new type of speed control system which iscombined with Switched Reluctance Motor,modern power electronic technology andcontrol technology.The system has been widely concerned because of its simplestructure,low cost,good performance of speed adjustment.And it possesses theadvantages of DC motor and AC motor as well.In this dissertation,research anddesign work is done based on the low power370W four phase8/6pole switchedreluctance motor.The system mainly takes the chip of STM32F105as the control core and thepower converter adopts IRFP450power devices and IR2110driving chips to design a370W low power SRD and establish the simulation model to compare the motorcharacteristics.Firstly,the dissertation introduces the development status and actual applicationof SRM to analyze the main research direction and point out the main researchcontents and significance of this dissertation.Secondly,this dissertation details the basic structure of SRM,its operationprinciple, mathematical model and basic control mode.Especially the mathematicalmodel and control mode are explained in detail.Based on that,the characteristics ofSRM have been introduced.Thirdly,point out the basic structure of SRD which includes SRM,powerconverter,position detection module,current detection module and so on.Accordingto the mathematical model of SRM,a simulation model of switched reluctance motoris built.Principles of each part of the SRD are analyzed and the PID control algorithmis put into use.All of these provide theoretical and ideological base for theestablishment of the system.Then,a370W low power switched reluctance motor drive system is designedand developed.The system design work is divided into the hardware circuit designand the software program design.The design of the hardware part mainly consists of aDC power circuit,the peripheral circuit of the control chip,power conversion circuit,position detection circuit,current detection circuit and other parts.The software part includes the main control program, motor control program and PID controlalgorithm.Finally,based on the designed SRD,the debugging and test work is carriedout.The experimental results were analyzed to confirm the feasibility of the systemdesign,the correctness of the control algorithm and control strategy,which providesthe basis for further improvement of switched reluctance motor drive system....
