Research On Landscape Design Of Reconstruction To Urban Village

Ever since the reform and opening-up, China has speeded up urbanization with numerous high buildings springing up across the country. Meanwhile,"village in city" as a part of urban space is born out of urbanization in rural area, serving as a habitat of migrant population flocking into the city. In recent years, many cities have begun to renovate these villages in city since the landscape in village in city is generally too dirty and messy due to longtime careless management. It is easy for the urban administrators just pick up the idea of demolition, which can lead to stereotyped concrete forest as well as neglecting of the demand of the inhabitants regarding specific landscape design. Therefore, it is an urgent issue to have research on landscape design of reconstruction to village in city.On specific landscape design during the process of reconstruction to village in city, this thesis discusses how to keep the village culture continue in urban and cultural development and how to improve the living conditions of vulnerable groups, in order to ultimately enhance the overall image of the city.Based on the comprehensive understanding of village in city, this thesis analyzes the existing problems and typical renovation modes, summarizes the possible methods of landscape design of reconstruction and provides some ideas and suggestions in the field of urban construction and renovation of village in city.
