Floating technology has been applied as an effective technology approach to reducerecoil and improve shotting stability in the small-caliber artillery, and shown a goodperformance. The study based on the principles of a floating machine and combined with thestructure characteristics of a30mm chain artillery, meanwhile, demonstrated and identifiedthe overall program of spring hydraulic floating machine. According to the identified program,creating a physical model of the floating automatic machine, listing the kinetics equation offloating automatic machine. In order to obtain the optimum parameters match and to make thefloating machine has good floating stability, regard the floating spring preload, floating springstiffness, spring unidirectional valve fluid flow hole diameter in piston and adjustable fluidflow diameter as design variables; regard the MSE of floating body recoil initial displacementas the objective function; regard the recoil speed of floating body, the maximum recoildisplacement and the maximum recoil resistance, etc. as constraints to establish the floatingmachine parameter optimization design model; Using optimization methods and C languageto program the optimized design procedures and optimizing the floating main parameters.Making the simulation under the conditions of floating automaton kinetic parameters, theresults show that a floating automatic machine obtain a good stability under the selectedparameters, compared to spring buffer device, the recoil reduced by59.4%and achieved thepurpose of the lower recoil and improving shooting accuracy. Finally, according to thedetermined floating machine structure parameters to make the floating machine design.Through the study of the chain artillery low recoil technique, it is known that floatingtechnology can greatly reduce recoil, improve shooting accuracy and has a good floatingstability. Research working has some theoretical guidance for floating machine design of30mm chain artillery.
