In recent years,China’s highway has a rapid development,but the rapiddevelopment of highway is not only the growth of mileage,but also to keep pace interms of traffic information.At the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" our country putsforward to promote the application of advanced equipment and technology fortransportation and to improve the information level of transportation.In2011,Shandong Provincial Communications Department proposed to accelerate theimplementation of traffic information technology to comprehensively promote thedevelopment of modern transportation.Combined with the actual situation of the highway operation and management inWeifang City,on the basis of research,the paper researchs the highway informationsystem from four aspects,the information collection,lane toll,traffic monitoring andemergency management.In terms of data collection,the paper compares theadvantages and disadvantages of static and dynamic information collection methods,puts forward the method of preprocessing the data of incomplete and abnormal trafficflow information and improves Kalman filter algorithm to carry traffic informationintegration.In lane toll system,the paper from the perspective of system requirementscarries on the toll system design in Weifang City,researchs the principle of lane tollsystem and the algorithm structure of lane toll system.In highway traffic monitoringsystem,the paper conducts the selection of traffic monitoring equipment around trafficmonitoring system and builds the Weifang City traffic monitoring system,the paperresearchs the layout method of highway traffic monitoring.In transport emergencycommand system,according to system design principles the paper refinesclassification of traffic emergency response mechanism, from the emergency alarm,emergency dispatch, emergency record three the paper builds Weifang Cityemergency command system, and leads the congestion index into Dijkstra algorithmand conducts optimization of emergency route optimization.
