In the development of Construction Machinery, vibration and noise have been one ofthe problems that construction machinery industry focuses on. The vibration of ConstructionMachinery produced in working affects the mechanical performance and handling comfortof the product.Moreover, the noise generated by vibration has polluted the environment,threatening operator’s health seriously. This paper aims for the purpose of improvingproduct quality, reducing vibration and noise level and ameliorating working conditions ofoperators, as well as building real-time test system to analyze noise of LW500N wheelloader cab based on advanced test equipment. The main works are as following:1)Researching international and domestic testing technology and method of vibrationand noise control in construction machinery widely, then analyze the current shortage ofdomestic loaders in vibration and noise control.2)Testing vibration of the wheel Loader cab by three direction vibration sensor, andthen collecting and record the sound signals generated by the vibration source to obtain thecorresponding spectrum. Grasp the components of vibration frequency by analyzing thespectrum obtained.3)Understanding the internal links among vibration, transmission path and noise basedon acoustics and vibration theories. Identify the main noise resource of the wheel loader cabbase on noise recognition principles, and analyze the mechanisms and pathways of noise.4)Taking targeted measures to control vibration of main noise resource according to thedifferent vibration and dissemination of noise. Then verify the feasibility and economics ofimprovement program in engineering prototype.Testing results show that vibration and noise of the wheel loader cab is produced by thecabin structure resonance aroused by engine vibration mainly. Floor, bench and chassis arethe main noise resources of cab. Take active and effective measures of noise reductioncombining with domestic research of loader noise and vibration control, aiming atameliorating noise conditions of loader cab and elevating product’s market competitiveness.
