Layout problems have been existing in the production and people’s livingwidely. From a relatively simple one-dimensional layout problem to highercomplexity of three-dimensional layout problem, layout problem has been aimportant problem to resource utilization and production efficiency. Andtwo-dimensional layout problem, for its complex degree of solution and its importantmeaning in the actual production of life, become an important research content in thecurrent optimization to solve actual problems.Two-dimensional layout problem belongs to the uncertain problems, which isnamed the NP problems. It is hard to get the optimal solution of this kind ofproblems, and current solution is mainly used of people’s experience, starting fromthe heuristic method of layout, reasonable optimizing until meet the requirements.According to two-dimensional layout problem, domestic and foreign expertsand scholars have put forward many kinds of heuristic algorithms and intelligentoptimization algorithms, such as dynamic programming method, integerprogramming, BL algorithm, the steps-down algorithm, rectangular chunkingstrategy algorithm and other algorithms to solve different types of parts of layoutproblem. The algorithms for solving the rectangular parts of two-dimensional layoutproblem are effectively, which can get satisfactory layout scheme. But for thecircular parts of two-dimensional layout problem the research are relatively fewer.But in the actual production and people’s life, circular parts act as a graphic withspecific geometric properties of parts, can be seen everywhere. Therefore, thetwo-dimensional circular parts layout research is of great significance.In production, the two-dimensional circular parts are always blanking on thebasis of shear, therefore, the paper choose the two-dimensional circular shear layoutas the main research content. Shear of two-dimensional circular parts layout isdivided into two steps: first of all, cut the plate which has a given length and widthinto line-strips along the horizontal or vertical, and then blanking circular parts inevery line-strips to make the efficiency of the plate maximization under the conditions of machining process and the needs of the production.In this paper, the main research contents include these parts: this paper designedthe strip cutting way of plate based on the dynamic programming and residualrectangle matching combination, which every two strip with non-overlapping onboard to make the stripe on the plate obtain the reasonable layout. And in this paper,the stripe layout, each of which has the same kind of circular parts only, circularparts on each stripe can be a single stage or multistage and any two circular partshave non-overlapping, is optimized to meet utilization expectations of the plate ineach stripe.
