The scroll air compressor is a kind of air compressor which is by changing the cavity volume to realize gas compression. The machining quality of the dynamic and static disk scroll surface will directly affect the efficiency, performance and service life of scroll compressor. In order to assess the machining quality of scroll surface, we need to measure the scroll surface machining accuracy. With the rapid development of science and technology and manufacturing level, the demand for the complex structure and the curved surface parts becomes higher. Because this kind of parts is complicated in shape, which make it is difficult to test for using traditional detection tools and the detection accuracy is not high, Therefore, the problems how to use the effective detection methods to replace the traditional detection tools to improve the detection accuracy for curved surface parts should be solved urgently. This article is based on the research about the application of Reverse Engineering Technology, fully analyzed and studied the feasibility of the application of Reverse Engineering Technology in the quality detection of complex structure products, In order to solve the problem of traditional detection methods are time-consuming, difficult and high cost, we finally put forward the quality inspection method for complex structure products based on Reverse Engineering Technology, which achieved the digitization, visualization and automation of the products testing means. This detection methods is to get the error between the surface information and reference model by detecting the two parts in different ways, and then to judge if the error is within acceptable limits.This article put the scroll compressor scroll plate as the main study object, firstly, analyzing the surface of the scroll to select the proper measuring equipment to obtain surface information,and then processing scroll surface point cloud data for using the Geomagic Studio software to obtain appropriate point cloud data, preparing for the subsequent work, finally, using the Geomagic Qualify software make a comparative analysis,fully analyzed the cause of measurement error, data processing error and model matching error in the product quality inspection process and put forward corresponding solution, using the method of dimensional analysis, three dimensional analysis and form and position tolerance evaluation get the final test results and put the results back to the actual production and achieved satisfactory results.
