Since1892, when the wave grinding phenomenon found in Indian railways, countries around the world have found that the wave phenomenon. Since people found wave grinding, people began to wave to grind a lot of research and analysis. But, until now, people found that there is no way to essentially stop wave mill production.In recent years, with the continuous development of urbanization, subway lines also expands unceasingly, to is inevitable the rail grinding. Metro rail grinding waves not only endanger the safety and produce a lot of noise, and, if you don’t control the wave grinding, let its wanton expansion, will eventually have to change track, greatly increased operating costs.Scientific research shows that only in the early wave of grinding on the detection and control, can effectively to control the wave of grinding. Therefore, need to wave grinding high-precision measurement and accurate analysis. At the same time, the expansion of the subway lines, and labor costs continue to increase, the existing track wave ground testing equipment cannot meet the practical needs of track maintenance personnel. So urgently need a kind of device can accurately and efficiently to the rail grinding test.Paper based on the analysis of grinding at home and abroad, compared the commonly used wave detection method, on the basis of combined with the related characteristics of metro rail transit, introduced the grinding wave detection method, based on the inertial and inertial reference method.This paper based on the inertial reference method detection scheme are presented, the design of the scheme in detail, including the sensor selection, analog signal conditioning and data signal processing, etc., and the dynamics simulation is carried out using multi-body kinematics software SIMPACK, axle box acceleration signal collected, to the principle of grinding based on inertial reference method of wave detection is analyzed and validated. After that, the paper based on chord measuring method of wave grinding method was introduced in detail, including the key mechanism of selection, the determination of key technologies, etc.
