Recently, energy crisis has become one of the main factors to blocking thedevelopment of world economic and security, the research and development ofthe new renewable energy symbolize development tendency of the energy futureall over the world. Solar and wind power have gradually become infant of theemerging energy with their advantages of efficiency, clean, and renewable. Inrecent years, as the material science in the application of photovoltaic cells andthe semiconductor device in the application of power electronics, photovoltaicpower generation system has been widely applied in various fields. Photovoltaicbattery is an important part of the energy conversion; however it is instability,conversion efficiency, the nonlinear dc output source, so optimization powersystem and improving the system efficiency of photovoltaic system are animportant research in the field of the Photovoltaic application.This paper mainly analysis how to improve the efficiency of the system andincrease the utilization of photovoltaic solar energy, The paper also analysis thephotovoltaic tracking, the maximum power point tracking algorithm, dc-dc powerconversion circuit, and dsp digital control circuits in details. Firstly, we study thework principle of photovoltaic cells and relationship between the maximumpower point power output and load line. Then the Solarex MSX120120Wphotovoltaic array general simulation model is proposed based onMatlab/Simulink software environment, and then objective to study the maximumpower point tracking control principle and some conventional algorithms ofcontrol strategy, analysis the tracking performance of disturb-observe and geneticalgorithm. We also have used the observation of variable step disturbances for thecontradiction between the dynamic response speed and stability of the system.Through the analysis of simulation results of outpowr, Variable step disturbance algorithm can effectively increase the overall output power, and can maintain agood dynamic response speed and stability. Circuit designs mainly consist of theboost power conversion circuit, control circuit and photovoltaic track circuit.Program control chip adopt ti high performance TMS320F2812processor.Genetic algorithm will be applied to maximum power point tracking system. Thetracking system of photovoltaic—light has been designed by180°rotatingtracking controller in the direction of vertical and horizontal. Photoresistorsampling voltage differences are converted to empty of convert motor anglecontrol from different directions in Photoelectric detection circuit. The testresults have show that the genetic algorithm has its convergence effect and theefficiency of power is improved significantly.
