PV system is a very important form of new energy using and development, But the efficiency is not high, thus increasing the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation has become the center of attention. MPPT control technology is a key technology to the study of photovoltaic power generation system that enables the system to work at MPP can greatly improve the efficiency of the PV system. This paper compares the technology in-depth study.This article first give a introduction for each component of photovoltaic power generation system and its classification, do a analysis on the working principle and the output characteristics of photovoltaic cells, give the engineering model of photovoltaic cells, use matlab software simulation model of the PV array. Studied the working principle of MPPT control technology, and several conventional control algorithm analysis were introduced. Secondly, studied the causes of photovoltaic array partial shadow forming, it harms of the phenomenon and the solutions to it. Voltage power characteristics under conditions of partial shade curve of the PV array into a multi-peak curve, conventional MPPT control algorithm will fail. Studied the working principals and processes of the global scan method, a detailed analysis of particle swarm optimization and process design principles, and its parameters are optimized, so that it has the ability to multi-modal optimization superior.Based on the matlab software to build a photovoltaic power system simulation model, and setting a photovoltaic array lighting conditions, at the start of the light intensity is consistent, then mutation is inconsistent. In this setting conditions for the control algorithm described in this article simulation to verify the improved PSO optimization algorithms both in terms of tracking speed and accuracy have good results, which reduces energy waste system to improve the efficiency of the PV system.
