Logistics vehicle positioning management system is a system that integrates GeneralPacket Radio Service, Embedded Technology, GIS (Geographic Information System) andGlobal Positioning System. The main function of the System is to query and monitor theparameters of position, speed and direction, etc of the moving target by receiving statusinformation of the moving target, including longitude and latitude, etc. sent from wirelesscommunication link. The System can apply to fields of vehicle scheduling and management,and guard against robbery and theft. The System also improves the efficiency and safety ofthe vehicle scheduling, solving the problems of logistics tracking and positioning. Thispaper is divided into following parts:The first part is the introduction of the paper. The paper first analyzes workingprinciple of the GPRS, GIS, GPS and other instruments used in the logistics vehiclepositioning management system, and describes them respectively. Research method andshortcomings in the present study at home and abroad are also analyzed in this part.The second part is about hardware design of the terminal of logistics vehiclepositioning management system. The hardware of the System is mainly made up by GPRSmodule, GPS module and stm32F103microcontroller. Receiving of positioning informationis executed by GPS module. Also, determination of the longitude and latitude is alsocompleted by GPS module. Communication with central server is executed by GPRSmodule, and position information of the vehicle can be queried timely through GPRSmodule. Data collection and module control are executed by stm32F103microcontrollerwhich is the core of the module. In central server module, geography information systemmodule is the main module to display the real time position information of the vehicle.The third part is about software design of the System. The System is programmed byC language. The design of corresponding software flow diagram of the microcontroller andprogramme of each module is completed in accordance with various functions. Afterdebugging, all modules can receive all positioning data, and all data are complete.The four part is the server-side programming language for the c#language, Arg GIStools and SQL database, after debugging module can receive the positioning of the various data, each receive to be able to receive the complete data.Features of the System and the work has been done are concluded in the last part ofthe paper. Also, after shortcomings and the way of improvement are pointed out, the authorgives his opinion on research of logistics vehicle positioning management system.
