The main purpose of this paper is to build a model that is used to analyze the influence ofFCG and the modulator circuit structure parameters to the output energy of the entire unit andoptimize the design of the FCG’s structure, and to analyze weather this structure meet thebasic requirements of Laser’s driving-power.In this paper, the model of the FCG’s output and the model of modulator circuit which ofthe input energy is the FCG’s output energy are established by mathematical method, and arecalculated by using FCG-I program which is compiled by C++. In modulator circuit ofimpulse power study to process, this paper analyzes the model which is about its parametersof EEOS in the first place, and establishes the mathematical model of modulator circuit whichcontains EEOS. According to the existing experimental conclusion, the mathematical modelof modulator circuit that combines EEOS and an inductive energy storage unit using PFL isconstituted. This paper researches work principle and output characteristics of LD. Thenaccording to its own inspire conditions and the requirements of driving-power, this paperanalyzes that FCG as LD’s driving-power is feasible. This paper carries on the experimentplan of the next step.In order to verify the correctness of the model, this paper, using parameters of theexisting country’s FCG as input data to FCG-I to get the calculation, and then, to comparesthe calculation to experimental data, proves the model can be used to guide th design of FCG.According to the mathematic model of the new modulator circuit, through the analysis showsthat this model is in accordance with the existing experimental conclusion. At last, this paperdesigns a new-style structure of PFCG, and establishs the mathematic model to calculateoutput.
