Spiral Explosive Magnetic Flux Compression Generator (FCG) has been widelyused in weapon because it has high initial inductance, high initial magnetic compression,high magnification of current and power and cylindrical model. Cylindrical model is veryhelpful for the intention of using them in the future war.This paper has studied the raising of FCG's output level and the efficiency of energytransmitting from explosive power to magnetic power by computer simulation experimentfor FCG's practical engineering applications and the smaller development direction ofelectric-magnetic pulse bomb. Applicant program codes through computer simulation arewritten to simulate the helical FCG's 3-D process of different devices. Different kinds ofparameters' output results are analyzed and compared through clear drawings and somelaws about different helical FCG are obtained, which will point to the parameter'soptimum direction for our future design. At the same time, some better conclusions aregiven to provide a reference for the practical engineering design.Taking the importance of armature expanding into account, the expanding process'svelocity and expansion cone for an armature of a helical FCG are studied in depth by anonlinear, explicit finite-element code, called ANSYS/LS-DYNA, which increases ourcomprehension about FCG process.At last, an orthogonal test designing method is proposed to study the influences ofvarious FCG on the system performance, to find out those most influential factors and tomake them optimized throuth the others' help. According to the analyzing result, two moreinfluential factors were obtained. Then we take use of two times' orthogonal regressivemethod to analyze them and obtain the tested equation. This will make the experimentaldesigner have the ability to consider the emphasis of the influential factors.
