In the power system, the importance of distribution automation always cannot beignored. Especially now, the demand for energy resources increased significantly, and evenfrom time to time from somewhere came a voice from in the peak period of electricity, haveimposed power brownouts, or priority use of electricity.Electricity consumption is growing as the modernization of energy, its transmissionprocess requires guaranteed quality, high efficiency, strong reliable, and meet the needs of theindustry and life. So the centralized collection, automation management and integratedmanagement of Electricity monitoring were significant development. The optimization ofdistribution monitoring system is becoming more and more demanding.Power distribution monitoring system collects data, and transmits computer or othercontrol system. Sending the electric parameters collected by power distribution monitoringsystem, communication system is essential to support. The rapid development ofcommunication technology. The trend of more intelligent, network, informationizationaccelerated, coupled with the communication equipment can be connected not only to thecomputer, but can be easily transmitted between computers connected to each other, andmany factors that brought the growing concern in communication systems. Thecommunications of the wireless communication, with its advantage of low cost and easy tocarry, potential was found by people. Under the harsh natural conditions, regionalinconvenience situation, wireless communication is recognized by more and more people.The scene of the remote telemetry, digital image transmission, handheld devices, and manyother aspects more and more accepted by people. Thus communication with substationmonitoring system of wireless communication in many cases chooses as their only choice.Based on this background, this paper put forward and designed power distributionmonitoring and wireless transmission system, the system uses the most general STC89C52 and wireless transmission modules as the hardware platform, using the serial communicationinterface to collect electric parameters, through the wireless digital transmitted to the PC andstored. After power distribution monitoring system application is successful, can be applied toother areas of sensor acquisition transmission due to it is an extensible system.In the paper, firstly, from the perspective of power distribution monitoring system, thepower distribution monitoring technology at home and abroad are introduced. This design isgiven on the premise of satisfying the needs of the experiment, as far as possible to reducecost. Power distribution monitoring system uses a mature technology, collected three-phaseelectric parameters. Secondly, by comparing different methods of data transmission, plus cost,technology level, individual experimental conditions and factors such as personal ability,communication system using PTR8000wireless data transmission system. Finally, thereceived data is stored display, according to the circuit debugging, the digital distributionmonitoring system successful implementation wireless data transmission.
