Current society productivity in constant progress, modern design with the development and change of the times and constantly span, presenting a plurality of situation. But in the development of science and technology at the same time,resources and energy consumption is accelerating, the relation between human being and nature also is worsening ceaselessly, resources, pollution is serious with each passing day.Nowadays the people to have a clear understanding of the design of environmental protection an important role of man and nature, construction of a new aesthetic ecology study on the relationship between caused widely attention of the society, green design" has become a global focus.Conventionally, the interior design has been paid attention on the customers’interests in aesthetic, functional and economic as the design criteria. Interior design needs new approaches to cover these challenges. Sustainable development will be one of the best approaches.Sustainable development provides a clear direction and goals for environment-friendly green interior design. Which requires designers to establish ecological concepts and do investigation and analysis on reduce energy consumption, improve energy efficiency, have the capacity to use of renewable energy indoor and create an integrated conceptual design.Green design takes into account the person and the environment harmony, alleviate human due to production and consumption behavior brings to the environment load. And the green design in the design in order to reduce design produced by the environmental pollution and destruction for the idea, fully considering the environmental effects.Indoor green design techniques focus on energy strategy, ventilation design, artificial lighting and natural lighting, building decoration materials and construction technology, the application of plants and water, and indoor air quality control.All of these show the green design for the protection of the environment, but also requires the interior designers in the design of both science and art; the interior designer has put forward higher requirements. The interior designs in the basic function satisfied conditions also have certain cultural connotation, so that people living in the indoor environment to fully reflect the people-oriented spirit, green environmental protection.In this article, the first chapter mainly put forward domestic indoor pollution problems as well as establishes the research content and target. The green building evaluation system at home and abroad are introduced in the second chapter especially the part related to interior design. It also illustrates the origin of green design,the design principle and method, etc. The third chapter analyzed the most likely to produce pollution of building materials in the whole decorate period. And the possible pollutants is introduced. And it tells the current problems that exist in the interior design and puts forward some new proposals. In the fourth chapter o, the Chinese and foreign and domestic green building evaluation system are being analyzed and compared, refer to the concrete analysis object, index, evaluation method.Then this article established the evaluation index system suitable for China’s national conditions. Articles of chapter5we made a design for a house according to the established evaluation index system. Finally, summary and outlook were put forward.Green interior design covers not only design of physical structures but also include a healthy values and lifestyles for clients, so called "the green living". Green interior design can motivate people one step close to living green.
