| An active magnetic bearing is a new type bearing that based on electromagnet to produce controllable electromagnetic force to realize the target of non-contact suspension.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1) The classification and theory of active magnetic bearingsIntroduce the classification of active magnetic bearings, and elaborate the theory of active magnetic bearings according to the different applications, and the formulas is derived.(2) The optimal design of active magnetic bearingsAccording to the structure for different types of active magnetic bearings, and base on the rational allocation of pole area and trunking area, we propose the maximum unit force and minimum volume as the optimal objects. At last we use VB develops the design software of active magnetic bearings to realize the parametric programming.(3) The Performance anslysis of active magnetic bearingsOn the basis of design aforementioned, we use the analytical and finite element method analyze the magnetic, loss and temperature field, then give the calculation and formulas. On the basis of finite element method, we simulate different types of active magnetic bearings using ANSYS software, proposed on the basis of simulation data, we find out the most optimal structure of the three-pairs polar C-type, four-pairs polar C-type and three-pairs polar E-type, four-pairs polar E-type. At last we use ANSYS to check the accuracy of the designs. |
