The vibration characteristic of the helicopter carring the pod that had been described in this paper was tested based on entirely investigating and resereaching the vibration characteristics of the aviation platform, and then this paper analyzed the testing result.In order to reduce the effect of the of a helicopter’ vibration to the pod imaging and stability accuracy,achieve the steady precision of aviation pods,the pod for damping was designed in this paper, and finally selected the secondary vibration reduction method as the priory one through the comparison of several kinds of damping scheme. Through analyzing the secondary passive damping theory, and according to the aviation pod structure parameters, the damping system mechanics model was established. Using two-dimensional parameter optimization method, get the damping system optimal damping ratio0.439, level of vibration damping system natural frequency is12.4492Hz, the secondary vibration isolation system for the natural frequency of7.812Hz, Using matlab draw out the transmission rate curve, through the analysis of the transmission rate curve, we can see the helicopter’s high frequency vibration of the secondary damping system can be well isolated. Finally, the damping effect of the two vibration isolation system is verified by experiments, indicating that the reasonableness of the program.
