Qualitative Analysis Of Helicopter Stability Under The Precipitation And Thunderstorm

A variety of complex weather conditions have serious impact on the helicopter flight performance and the safety of helicopter aviation. This paper use the flight simulation software Flight Gear to simulate flying in a variety of complex conditions, and analyzed the impact on the helicopter's performance which flying in complex conditions according to the simulation result based on helicopter aerodynamics, flight dynamics and control theory .This article makes an overview of the relevant knowledge to helicopter, describes the helicopter flight simulation on the content and research status. Then, establish the functional components for helicopter dynamic model based on helicopter theory, and give the helicopter trim calculation.Then, introduced the flight simulation software Flight Gear, MATLAB Simulink and modeling software AC3D and achieved real-time simulation of helicopter flight.At last, this paper makes real-time simulation of helicopter flight under the complex conditions by some typical flight abroad, the simulation results is reasonable and good, and analyzed the impact on the safety of helicopter aviation according to the simulation results of complicated conditions.This paper attempts to use the software Flight Gear flight simulator under complex conditions of the helicopter flight simulation, and gets some achievement from the simulation results.
