The Application Of Color In Interior Design

With the rapid development of current economy,political and our culture,the color shows more and more popular using in each area of our society,and also human take more and more attention on the color’s huge meaning to humans’ daily life and psychological world.As we know,people live in indoor environment most of the lives,and for the pursuing of beauty,the house is not the place which can prevent from the wind and rain,but also they do hope they can deeply meet their demand of appreciating beauty.The applying for using color is one of the most important factor to compose the beauty of indoor environment.How to apply for the speciality of color in the indoor designing is the beginning of my essay,which will also combine with some actual samples for color using in several types of spaces,the essay will provide the analysis of color using and the using method.Part Ⅰ:To figure out the research background,meaning and method of this topic,to give a representative summary of the literature in this field and remarks,to introduce the existing theories of color,which including the color of the basic concepts, basic properties, contrast harmonic method and color psychology and related concepts,that can provide practical foundation to the topic applying.Part Ⅱ:To explore the relationship between color and interior designing,to research the application of the color of each period in both native country and abroad from a historical point of view.Part Ⅲ:To analysis the relationship between the constituent elements which all compose the interior color,and also how the factors such as interior features, lighting, materials, geographical could affect the indoor color.Part Ⅳ:Firstly,to study the direct psychological effects to people which caused by color appreciating in interior design,such as color temperature, weight, measure, time, emotions, and also indirect effects of the psychological effects such as mass psychology and the psychological effects of individual and combined with three different types of application examples that are residential, public, commercial things. In the last,according to the contents above,to extract the principles which color applying should follow in interior design,to sum up the color application method in indoor designing.
