Track skeleton of maglev train developed by the cooperation of Laiwu SteelGroup Corporation Limited and CSR Corporation Limited made a breakthrough in thebottleneck of hot rolled of track skeleton and realized the batch production of F typetrack skeleton. At present, the project of Laiwu Steel Group Corporation Limited couldproduce105tons of track skeleton of maglev train with medium and low speed everyyear. The first maglev train with medium and low speed in china built by LaigangConstruction Corporation Limited has run safely for100days on the1.5kilometerstangshan F section of track test facilities, which indicated the successful running ofmaglev train. The project possesses significant independent innovation advantage,including10items of technology patent,7items of establishing national and industrystandards. And the one is perfecting the technology of track skeleton of maglev trainwith medium and low speed possessing high technology, independent innovation andindependent intellectual property rights.The batch production of F type track skeleton by hot rolling laid a solidfoundation for the development of maglev rail transit. However, realizing large-scaleconstruction of maglev rail transit still needed to make a breakthrough in producing thecurved rail, processing sleeper, straightening and installing of track skeleton and so on.Based on the question in practical production, this dissertation mainly focused on thestraightening of F type track skeleton to resolve the geometry defects after forming Fsteel by hot rolling and to realize large-scale construction of F type track skeleton.According to the production process and working principle of straighteningmachine, the dissertation firstly reviewed the overall plan. Then selective calculation ofthe main motor, the design of main transmission system, the work roll and backup rolland the design and correction of the pressure of straightening machine were done.Besides, some parts and basic structure of straightening machine were also designed.Moreover, the development direction of straightening machine was also examined.Additionally, the straightening model was built using UG NX8.0sofeware afterthe design. And the finite element simulation was also done with the simulation program of the sofeware and the design of the model was optimized employing theresults. Meanwhile, the results were compared with the mechanical simulation built bythe general finite element software of MSC.Marc, in order to prove the simulationresults of UG and perfect the design.
