Recent years, with the development of the market integration and economicglobalization, automobile industry has become one of the pillar industries in nationaleconomy. Due to the more competitive market, the upgrading of automobile has beenspeeding up. Being the key component in auto-body manufacturing, automobile paneldies is the bottleneck in the new generation of automobile. For it’s complicated shapes,long period and huge numbers in production, the traditional automobile Panel diedesign has many defects, for example, low efficiency, big investment and huge risk.All these defects make unable to keep the pace with the need of new situation. So,how to improve the efficiency of automobile panel die and reduce working cycle timebecomes one hot issue. Using Computer-Aided Engineering technology forautomobile panel stamping technics analysis has played an important part which canensure the quality of forming, reduce the material consumption, decrease the cost ofproduction, shorten the product cycles.According to the reality of automobile panel die industry nowadays, this topicassessed one front wall plate of JieFang truck, set up establishment scheme forstamping technics, analyzed stamping technics and completed the stamping technics.All these work includes ensuring pressing direction, surface reconstruction, edgeunwrapping, trimming position, the order of punching, supplement surface forcraftwork, analyzing blank holder force, designing binder surface and draw beads,afterwards, adjusting the process supplement, then getting the model of craftwork byusing CAD software. After that, by using FEM software DYNAFORM, we simulatedthe process of stamping technics, forecasted the possible flaws in the forming processand optimized the process of stamping. Based on the result of numerical simulation,offered reasonable suggestions for product designer.At last, by comparing the result of simulation and actual defects, analyzing thecauses of defects based on the CAE technology. Finally, we optimized and renovated the scheme of the design data and the die.
