| In the paper,a semi-trailer frame is as the research object, the frame fatiguecharacteristics were analyzed by using the finite element analysis techniques.Firstly,the paper established a3D model of the frame, established the FEMmodel through meshing the3D model and setting the boundary conditions，and theanalysis about static strength was carried out on this model.The paper verified thereasonableness of the frame model based on the FEM and the test. Secondly, Thepaper studies on modal analysis and frequency response of the frame, obtaining thenatural frequency and the frame frequency response function. According to tractordriving road conditions，The paper using multi-body dynamics simulation softwareADAMS carried out the frame dynamic external load emulation According to theframe material properties, determined the S-N curve which was used in the fatigueanalysis.Finally, according to the S-N curve, the frame material dynamic load andfrequency response function, established the frame fatigue analysis model by usingthe fatigue analysis software MSC.Fatigue,and predicted the fatigue life of the frame.According to the fatigue life and dangerous parts of the frame, the preliminaryoptimization measures were put forward, providing the basis for the further study ofthe frame fatigue characteristics and improving the life of the frame. |
