This article study the coupling inductance structures from different angle, proposethe coupled inductance structures with different characteristics, suitable for differentapplications, but having many advantages compared with existing coupled inductancestructure. They satisfy the Bidirectional Buck-Boost converter of the requirements tomulti-phase coupled inductance. First, taking4-phase symmetry coupled inductance asan example, analyze the multi-phase coupled inductance’ equivalent inductances.Meanwhile, analyze the Steady State Performance and transient state performance ofcoupled inductance, then indicates that4-phase asymmetry coupled inductance on theimportance to the Bidirectional Buck-Boost converter. Moreover, taking4-phaseasymmetry coupled inductance as an example, analyze the multi-phase coupledinductance’ equivalent inductances. Meanwhile, analyze the effect of coupling degreeand asymmetry of the coupled inductance to equivalent inductances, then indicates thatcoupling degree and symmetry on the importance to the Bidirectional Buck-Boostconverter. Finally, in order to realize4-phase symmetry coupled inductance, put forwardthe scheme about making4-phase asymmetric coupling inductance into4-phaseasymmetry coupled inductance, through the simulation and experiment results show thepropose coupled inductance structure and the effectiveness of the propose symmetryscheme.
