The cylinder gasket plays a crucial role in the diesel engine cylinder sealing system. Theproperties of cylinder gasket directly affect the safety and reliability of the diesel engine.Therefore, with the diesel engine power density increasing, people put forward higherrequirements for the structure and material of cylinder gasket. And if the cylinder head gasketsealing can make accurate judgment has become an important basis for the design of cylindergasket.It absorbed domestic and foreign advanced technology theory and practice experience todesign and analysis in this paper. And it conducted a detailed analysis on the sealingperformance of the diesel engine through the application of finite element simulation analysistechnology. Including the optimization of assembly bolt pretightening force of the dieselengine、the seal structure stress analysis of diesel engine cylinder gasket、the sealingperformance analysis of diesel engine with the maximum explosion pressure and the sealingperformance transient analysis of diesel engine cylinder gasket. And it conducted a in-depthstudy of the diesel engine under the conditions of other factors about how they affect on thecylinder gasket sealing performance at work, especially the heating factors of diesel engine. itcan be observed that cylinder heat load distribution and impact of sealing property by TheThermal steady state analysis and thermal structures analysis of diesel engine. Then find outthe factor to improve the diesel engine cylinder gasket sealing properties by experimentalcomparison and data feedback, determine the improvement scheme, so as to enhance thereliability of the method. This method improved the traditional which rely solely onexperience design and can hardly meet the requirements of modern design precision. Thus itgreatly improved the efficiency and accuracy of product. It provided some theoretical basis ofcylinder gasket about reliability and failure criteria for the engine seal technology research.Finally, based on the WD615diesel engine cylinder pad as an example, it perfected thewhole process of analysis, design and Simulation of machining products, realized thecomplete simulation from development to production.This topic research is from the actual production, which depends on CAD/CAEtechnology to verify the automobile cylinder cushion design, defect modification, and reducethe dependence on physical experiment plays an important role. It improves the new productdevelopment, manufacturing efficiency, shorten new product development cycle, the productdesign, manufacturing quality, reduce the cost of development, and contribute the enterpriseto form a new design and development philosophy. Thus it has broad application prospectsand competitiveness.
