At present, the power grid automation and intelligention has been relatively mature, power secondary system has basically realized the computer integrated automatic control. But there are still a part of the electromagnetic current and voltage transformer running on substation network. In addition, with the expansion of the modern industry, electric power system transmission and distribution capacity is increasing, and the voltage level is constantly improving. In the precision of the signal measurement, range and response width has exposed many weaknesses.The traditional electromagnetic current transformer is difficult to meet the needs of the power grid parameters. Therefore, in the paper, we studies the Rogowski coil current transformer to play a important role in the goal of ensuring safe and reliable operation of the power grid and realize the intelligent power grid.Firstly, this paper introduces the research status of electronic current transformer at home and abroad, states the principle of the measurement of Rogowski coil,argument Rogowski coil as sensor unit with excellent properties.This paper study the influence of structure and electromagnetic parameters on the accuracy of Rogowski coil, and put forward a reasonable design of Rogowski coil.On this basis, to realize the measurement signal processing, STC89C52 is used for control chip and ADE7753 is used for signal processing chip.This paper designs the whole hardware circuit, and innovatively realizes a wide range of current measurement. This system includes the real time current value display and the set about the ratio of Rogowski coil. Its software application is designed on LabVIEW 2011. Finally, it studies the compensation method of the angle difference and the data difference of Rogowski coil by the software application.According to the actual test, the function of the Rogowski coil wide range measuring current and the signal processing has a basic implementation. The paperprovides a theoretical basis for Rogowski coil current transformer in the application of the smart grid research.
