In recent years, with the development of China’s economy and the development of marine resources, more ports, coastal bridge and maritime nation are rising. As a result, the design life of the building is made increasing demands. In order to adapt to the trend of the times, how to improve the durability of reinforced concrete structures becomes increasingly important. The reinforcement corrosion is the most important factor, especially in the marine environment, sprinkle of deicing salt and other harsh environments which contain rich chlorine ions.At present, various ways are used to improve the corrosion resistance of concrete structures, which mixing with mineral admixtures or rust inhibitor is the most common and effective way. However, there are many kinds of mineral admixture materials and rust inhibitor on the traditional market, and the effects of them vary. There is very little research in the interactions if both are mixed together in the concrete with a certain proportion. This article based on the status of the project, studying the interaction of the rust resistance components and complex mineral compositions in order to develop an efficient antirust compound-admixture.This paper selected HL-E330which was developed by Zhejiang University, proposed adding rust resistance components to enhance the function of complex admixture, in order to study the synergistic between the components. Eight kinds of rust inhibitor were chosen, and the type of them covers inorganic corrosion inhibitors, rust inhibitor and organic mixed rust inhibitor. In the end, AMCI was chosen to be mixed with HL-E330. Then more tests were taken to study interoperability between them.Tests showed that when mixing20%HL-E330hybrid composite admixture and2%rust inhibitor, rust performance of reinforced, concrete resistance to chloride ion penetration, sulfate resistance performance and the performance of fresh concrete have been greatly improved. After mixing composite admixture and rust inhibitor, concrete density enhancements by SEM microscopic analysis. That is to say, when mixing HL-E330and AMCI, the effects of them are synergistic.This study provides foundation to produce antirust compound-admixture standardly, which saves energy, ensures the quality of concrete and has great practical significance.
