Research On Performance Management Of EPC Project

EPC is the abbreviation of Engineering, Procurement, Construction ", which we normally called engineering general contracting. The EPC project is commonly referred to as turn-key project. Under the EPC mode, the owner and general contractor sign engineering contract, then entrust to the EPC’s general contractor the project’s design purchase^construction and trial run. The owner only intervene the specific organization superficially, such as the overal、principle, target management and control.EPC has its own characteristics and advantages and more and more become the main mode of international construction project. This paper studies in order to achieve the maximal project benefits, how to carry out performance management in EPC project’s team during the implementation of EPC project.The innovation of this paper is that we investigate how to execute systemic performance management and construct effective performance management system which covers benefit of all corporations、firms、groups and individuals under EPC mode. EPC project involves several interest groups and lays great stress on project teams’ collaboration in performance management. It is helpful to promote the EPC project’s performance by associating all interest groups together.
