Today, in the context of globalization and the information age, the world processof urbanization continues to accelerate and promote the accelerated flow of factors ofproduction in the region, and promote the process of urbanization, urban spatial formand urban system changes.City group as the basic geographic unit of the New Era inChina, and its development can not only greatly improve China’s internationalcompetitiveness, more fully promote the rapid development of the domestic regionaleconomic growing role in the urbanization process in China, Chinese academia alsogradually increase the urban agglomeration areas of research and exploration, as therepresentative of a new city urban agglomeration system is increasingly attractingpeople’s attention, becoming the focus of attention.Integration and understanding of domestic and international urban agglomerationspatial structure theory based on regional ties Perspective, qualit ative analysis of theUrban Agglomeration of structural elements node, channel flow, matrix, through theuse of the model of urban flow intensity Changzhutan urban group spatial structurefor quantitative analysis. Finally, according to the spatial structure of the problems, the spatial structure ofthe Changzhutan Urban Group optimization strategies:(1) to strengthen the city ofZhuzhou, Xiangtan urban sub-central role;(2) improve the urban group of thenetwork structure, the formation of multi-circlemode;(3) urban and rural, to fully tapthe development potential of the peripheral cities. Through this study, theChangzhutan Urban Group the coordinated development of regional spatial structureoptimization strategy to promote the Tan "two types of" social construction, the earlyrealization of the central strategy of the rise of the target.
