Transformer is the core equipment of the power system, it is directly related to the safety and stability of power system. Due to the large transformer design, manufacture, material quality and operation, and many other reasons, the malfunction is always occurring about the equipment of malignant, seriously affecting the safe and stable operation of the power grid. Transformer on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis technology, therefore, is the transformer by the periodic maintenance, important step toward the state overhaul. Which is based on the analysis of gases dissolved in transformer oil online monitoring technology is the most common transformer on-line monitoring, the most important technology.Based on the measurement and analysis of dissolved gas in insulating oil, Transformer oil gas on-line monitoring technology monitors large transformer internal running status. It can discover and diagnose the internal faults in time, show us the running status of equipment, make up for the deficiency of the laboratory chromatographic analysis and provide the technical support to ensure the safe operation of transformer. It is an important mean to ensure safe and economic operation of transformer and power grid system, and can bring huge economic benefits to the power industry and social benefits. Main research work is as follows:1) By in-depth studying of transformer oil dissolved gas for on-line monitoring and diagnostic techniques, based on the analysis of various deficiencies of transformer oil monitoring method, a set of transformer oil gas line monitoring system was designed. The system innovatively designed and used zirconia detector and CO2infrared detector based on infrared technology. Meanwhile, on-line monitoring system selected TMS320LF2407chip as the core components. A large number of experiments showed that the on-line monitoring system can timely and accurate monitoring of various characteristics of gas dissolved in transformer oil content, in real time to reflect the operational status of equipment, to improve the reliability of power transformer operation has important theoretical significance and engineering application value.2) This on-line monitoring system uesd a modular design approach in the specific design, respectively, from both hardware and software aspects discussed the implementation of each functional module. In order to keep the system stable operation under different working environment, this paper also did some discuss of the system reliability measures.3) Finally, the design of transformer on-line monitoring system for experiment samples was analyzed and obtained the material analysis report. According to the results of the data processing, the system changed and correctioned. The question which as well as the test result appears in view of the examination process in have carried on the analysis, summarized the topic research results, has forecast the further research work content.
