| At present, China is expanding nuclear power in a large way. The process of. localization of nuclear power equipment is so imperative that nuclear power equipment companies face both a challenge and a rare opportunity of development. Shenyang Blower Works Group Nuclear Pump Co. Ltd., as a national pump industry pacesetter, is incumbent upon us to shoulder the arduous task of nuclear pump localization. Nuclear Pump Co. Ltd. has successfully developed Nuclear Class Ⅱ&Ⅲ pumps. And a project was decided to build a perfect, reliable, cold and hot state test bed used in all kinds of confirmation test for Nuclear Class Ⅱ pumps.In this paper, based on the technical characteristics and difficulties of research as well as the solution as the main line, the calculation, validation, and results, in the process of the thermal shock test bed being built for Nuclear Class Ⅱ&Ⅲ pumps, were elaborated. And in the end several practical applications of the test bed were briefly introduced.The test facility for Nuclear Class Ⅱpumps is self-designed based on widely investigate and survey on both domestic and foreign information about all kinds of existing cold/hot state and thermal impact test loops. Through hard studying and understanding on the technical specifications for various Nuclear Class Ⅱ pumps in nuclear power plants, the research group repetitiously researches and revises various kinds of data of the test facility in order to make it applicable to all cold/hot state tests under300-1500MW capacity, such as performance test, thermal impact test, cold impact test, impurity test, reduced-voltage start test and endurance test in the nuclear power plant.The whole test circuit and the control system are both brand new design. The test bed successfully fills the domestic blank, belongs to the domestic initiation. The success in the construction of the test bed represents an important landmark in our country’s nuclear pump localization process. |
