The soundless cracking agent is a kind of expansive power which produced volume expansion after the hydration reaction, its main component is calcium oxide. The static breaking technique is a crushing technology which loads static breaking agent slurry which is stirred with water into the borehole of the body to be broken. After a period of time, the breaking agent produces expansion pressure and the expansion pressure is applied in the wall of the hole so that the body to be broken cracking. Currently, this technology can be widely used in the concrete (structure) building changing (expanding) construction and stone cutting or cracking. The crushing process has no vibration, no dust and no flying stone. It is an important development and supplement to the traditional blasting technology.In this paper, researches are given through a combination of theoretical and experimental methods which are based on the basis of summarizing research status both at home and abroad.The results are found through the reaction temperature and the reaction rate of the test under different water cement ratio and different mixing water temperature. When the environment temperature is the same, depending on the water cement ration, the breaking agent can reaches the highest temperature which the range is120℃to170℃, the time required for10to20minutes. At the same time, the smaller water cement ratio the faster the reaction rate. When the water cement ratio is constant, the mixing water temperature has little effect on the broken agent maximum temperature and reaction rate in the hydration process. After the hydration process, the volume can be up to more than three times that of the pre-reaction volume.The tests of steel pipe expansion pressure show that water cement ratio and steel tube diameter have lager effect on the expansion pressure of the soundless cracking agent. Under the same environmental temperature conditions, when the diameter steel tube is constant, the smaller water cement ratio the greater expansion pressure can generate to the soundless cracking agent, this is because the reason for that the smaller water ratio means more soundless cracking agent slurry in the unit weight. When the same water cement ratio, the steel tube diameter greater the greater expansion pressure can generate, this is because the reason for that the greater diameter means more soundless cracking agent slurry in unit length of steel tube which produces more expansion pressure.Tests of five groups plain concrete blocks cracking under different water cement ratio indicate that depending on the water cement ratio, plain concrete test blocks start cracking in8to12hours. The width of main crack increases with the growth of time, both basic relationships into a linear growth. The smaller water cement ratio the sooner test blocks start cracking, whereas the later. Meanwhile, the location of the cracks appear have effect on the cracking effect of the test piece, but most blocks are split into2to4.
