Alternative fuel vehicle engine control technology is one of the important researchdirections of energy-efficient and new energy automotive industry. However, because of thelow heat value, low charging efficiency, slow combustion speed of LNG mixture, LNG busengine has poor dynamic and response lag. To solve this problem, paper study the controlprinciple and method of LNG bus engine for power performance, in order to improve itspower and dynamic response,which is benefit to promote the development of energy-efficientautomotive technology.Paper firstly introduce the reason of poor power performance, dynamic response and theresearch status of domestic and abroad. Secondly, build up the LNG bus engine model basedon principles of internal combustion engines. And study how the compression ratio, theconcentration of the mixture and the ignition advance angle affect LNG engine power,economy and emissions. Proposed a LNG bus engine control method for power performance(NNFFP method).Thirdly, design the LNG bus engine control systemand build up the modelby GT-POWER and MATLAB/Simulink software. Then, conduct a gas injection stepconditions, acceleration and deceleration conditions and urban bus cycle working conditionswith simulation and analysis. Finally, for verifying the feasibility of the control method, builda LNG bus engine control system Hardware-In-The-Loop experimental platform, test andanalysis. |
