Abstract/Summary:
Plant layout problem is an important part of enterprises’manufacturing system planning. The result of layout planning has a direct and significant impact on a running workshop’s capacity, costs and safety. Plan a good enough facility layout in workshop is one of decisive factors of improving manufacturing efficiency and reducing running costs in manufacturing industry. It is one of researching focuses for researchers in the world.Do research on workshop layout with the background of an enterprise workshop layout planning, simulate and analysis by using engineering analysis software. Main works presented in this paper include:1、Summarized the problems about using SLP to solve the plant layout problem in modern manufacturing mode. Analyzed avaliable improved SLP methods, and improved its design process based on these methods, which includes enterprises’actual running situation, materials flowing and programs’continuous improvement when they are put into reality.2、Took the new-build injection-assembly workshop of a enterprise for the study, used the improved SLP for planning its detailed facility layout. Analysed the enterprise’producing and operatating mode, used kinds of charts to plan the detailed facilities layout, ajust facilities layout in the workshop by considerating practical constraints and correction factors, obtained some initial plans of facilities layout in the workshop.3、Improved the evaluation method which is used frequently in SLP. The improved method is more objective and effective, which combines method of factor comparing and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Evaluated initial plans by using the improved evaluation method and obtained the better one. Finally, Analysed material handling line in workshop. 4、Obtained a initial plan by planning the detailed layout of conveyor line of the injection line in the new-build workshop, build the3D simulation model of the plan by using Simio, which is a Intelligent systematic simulation software. Achieved simulation of preventing collisions in the intersection and planning the path of tooling plates, which are more consistent with the reality. Found out the problems of the initial plan and improved by running the simulation model and analyzing the results.5、Modeled and analyzed the improved plan of the conveyor line. Finally, obtained a satisfying detailed plan of the injection line, which is proved more efficient and stable.
