Interchange, highway bridges of our country city uses single-column or similar single column continuous box girder structure,it has caused many bridge collapse, but it should be given enough attention on the bridge. In this paper,"a road viaduct (330) m continuous beam" as the engineering background, I discussed the continuous box girder transverse overturning stability with the help of the large-scale finite element analysis software Midas/Civil, also analyzed the influence of the bearing arrangement on transverse overturning stability. The main work is as follows:1.A road viaduct on "(330) m continuous box girder" as the engineering background, I establish the finite element bridge straight bridge and curved bridge analysis model with the help of the large-scale finite element analysis software Midas/Civil, and establish the grillage model and spatial model to analyse respectively curved beam and straight beam bridge transverse overturning performance according to the provisions of highway, railway specification.2.With Midas/Civil finite element analysis software,I analyse the bridge with different radius of curvature continuous box girder under different load conditions reaction force and lateral overturning coefficient calculation, and explore the changing rules of transverse overturning stability performance, and put forward reasonable suggestions for practical engineering influence parameters.3. Investigate the effects of the different bearing arrangement and different bearing offset of continuous box girder bridge transverse overturning resistance performance, and provide reference for similar bridge design.
