ABSTRACT:In recent years, China’s tunnel and underground engineering project has been developed by leaps and bounds, but at the same time, due to a variety of reasons, tunnel and. underground engineering safety incidents from time to time have occurred, including the collapse and landslides serious security accident, a serious threat to the personal safety of construction workers and caused huge damage to property. How safe and economical tunnel and underground engineering design and construction, is increasingly important in the current situation.The surrounding rock stability of tunnel and underground engineering has been the focus of the study of geotechnical engineering, geotechnical situation is more complicated due to the actual project, so the stability of surrounding rock discriminant is no uniform standard, the paper from the surrounding rockstress field, the use of a new method of plasticity engineering practice theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, the main contents are as follows:1. Review of tunnel surrounding rock stability studies and design optimization of the development status, summed up the surrounding rock stability analysis and design optimization of a number of problems and development direction.2. The system introduces a variety of factors that lead to rock failure and the current three common surrounding rock stability criterion.3. The new method of plasticity engineering research and analysis of the stress state of the tunnel, the stress field and stress field obtained by the new method of plasticity with the classical method to find a comparative analysis.4. Deduced based on the new method of plasticity circular chamber of different strength criterion critical failure depth study on a non-circular cross-section stress state and stability of surrounding rock, arched cross-section of the vertical wall height of the vertical wall circumferencerock stability.5. As an engineering example to the Luo Ping Tunnel, the new method of plasticity tunnel surrounding rock stress field, and its cross-sectional shape and anchor parameters to optimize the analysis, the optimization results based on thenewmethod.
