With the fast development of transportation business in our country, highway and railway tunnel engineering increase greatly. Many higher grade highway use tunnel projects not only improve the line form and shorten the mileage particularly, also economized investment for the country. However, because of tunnels in special structure and placed in complexity environment, there are still many problems in tunnel engineering constructions in surrounding rock stability , the structure parameter design, construction methods , supervision measurement method and basis, the shoring structure's safety for the long time periods etc. And the stability problem of the rock is outstanding. In recent years the author devote his mind to the rock stability and carry on a series research in the theories, method, application of surrounding rock stability and get some innovation. This text combines the Shanghai-Chengdu superhighway Dianjiang-Linshui branch tongluoshan tunnel engineering practices to explain status in quo of the tunnel rock deformation, present the surrounding rock stability of tunnel systematically, analyzing the breakage mode and standards of stability completely, and adopt nonline method and the strength lessen to imitate the rock losing the steady process. IN the text, we use the contact function of ANSYS software and anchor-hold contact mechanics to analyze the actual work appearance of the anchor pole, restricting deformation of the rock, thus improve the stability of rock. According to research result of engineering, put forward the meritorious result of judging rock stability according to it and also recommends the technique route of rock stability research . These researches result of rock stability have the certain theories meaning and engineering practical value to the tunnel. These researches may be used to do some help in tunnel design and construction practices.
