Abstract:Because of the complete structure, comprehensive performance and other advantages, the spinning member is widely used in the manufacture of new fighter jet, aerospace vehicle head cover and other large diameter to thickness ratio of rotary parts. However, spinning instability is the main factors to limit the improving of the manufacturing precision.Therefore, this paper will introduce the ultrasonic into spinning technology and design the ultrasonic spinning device. Because of the long cantilever structure of the spinning device, the tool head should not only meet the resonant, but also requirement stiffnesss.Combined with the analytic method and the finite element simulation, segment to design the full wavelength horn and study the changes of variable thickness and quality of round horn coupling frequency; through the finite element simulation and experiment and combined with the actual working conditions check the strength and stiffness of the tool head and improve the design of the tool head.The method of design two nodes full wavelength horn is by designing two half wavelength stepped horn, then couple them. Through the study of three key dimensions to the resonant frequency of the tool head, obtain the influence law of large diameter roller, roller diameter and thickness of rotary wheel three key dimensions of the tool head of the resonant frequency, provide the basis for the design of ultrasonic tool head; simulation the tool head under the stress and strain loading conditions, get the gap between the strength and stiffness of tool head and the actual requirements. According to the actual requirements of the processing, discuss the design method of the tool head and get the design ideas and methods.According to the research, produce the tool head to meet the tool head requirements. After the test, the tool head can form a resonance system, and its strength and stiffness meet the requirements of machining accuracy under the load conditions. It can prove the correctness of the conclusion of the study. It can provide a feasible way to design and manufacture of ultrasonic reducing spinning tool head and have guiding significance in applicatiaon of ultrasonic technology in thinning spinning process.
