Compared with the railway, there are more vehicles on the highway which are also more flexible. Therefore, one type of the cable-stayed bridge with inclined truss was proposed recently when constructing the rail-cum-road bridge, which the highway bridge deck is wider and the railway bridge is narrow. This paper first introduced the development history and current status of domestic and foreign large-span cable-stayed steel truss. Secondly, based on the Huanggang Highway-Railway Yangtze River bridge, the paper studyed the erection and construction control of the steel truss girder of the long-span cable-stayed bridge with inclined truss.Huanggang Yangtze River bridge is a double towers double cable planes cable-stayed bridge with the spans of (81+243+567+243+81) m. It is a key project with four first among the world’s same type bridges, which are as follows:the longest span, the biggest inclined main truss, the biggest bearing tensile tonnage, the biggest cable force. By the research, solved the problem of erection of inclined main truss girder, and firstly used the deck unit erection crane to erect the steel girder upon the main tower directly, which reduced the large inputs of floating crane; Invented a self-balancing device to ensure the safety of steel truss girder under symmetric double cantilever erection process; Invented a special three-dimensional space adjustable spreader and solve the problem of the installation of multi-angle space tilted belly poles; Developed a whole movable beam construction scaffold platform to ensure the safety of the erection of steel girder; The entire steel truss erection process of Huanggang Yangtze River Bridge is safely and smoothly, all the indexes can fully meet the design requirements which indicates that the four combining overall excellence construction and control method, a set of "safety, quality, duration and efficiency" can effectively ensure the smooth and safety of the erection of steel girder.
