With the advantages of the high blow energy, small vibration and environmental protection, hydraulic pile hammer has a powerful competitiveness in piling machinery. At present, the foreign products are still act as the leading role in pile hammer market. The inefficiency is ubiquity in domestic pile hammer. For enhancing the piling efficiency, this paper has analyzed the energy transfer, and combining the piling dynamic numerical simulation to research the relevant factors which have something to do with piling efficiency and optimizing the parameters.A dynamic numerical simulation of the piling process has been put forward at first. A numerical model and its software for analyzing the simulation of driving process which combined the improved continuous pole and optimized scattered mass-spring models. Utilize the stress wave theory and the pile-soil function mechanism, and combine the balance condition, the continuity condition and the appropriate interrupt condition to carry through the force analysis at every unit to enforce precise numerical simulation.Secondly, the energy transferring process has been researched systematic. The process of energy emerging, the energy transferring and the energy absorbing mechanism in the soil has been researched. Based on which, putting forward the standpoint for enhance driving efficiency is controlling the soil dynamic resistance. And then, have obtained the desired piling stress wave form by the use of variation method. What’s more, the numerical simulation program has been worded out which was used to simulate the penetration effect under the different pile driving condition. The simulation is taken out to research the mutual relation of height of the hammer fall, the cushion parameters and the pile body parameters and the influence them create in pile driving. By the use of the analogue simulation, the best cushion parameters have been obtained at the specific soil condition. Finally, to perform the experiment to research the penetration effect in different cushion parameters and pile length by use of the CASE correlation theory. The experiment has proved the theories which put forward before are correct.
