Abstract:the disk lock steel tubular scaffold, which hasn’t been applied in engineering practice, is a new type of scaffolding system developed by Hunan Jin Feng metal components co., LTD. The scaffold used novel wedge plug and socket as fittings, so that it Make a higher strength, more convenient construction process. In order to promote the scaffold system, this article aimed at studying Joints’Mechanical behavior.The content of this paper is mainly as follows:(1) using the static analysis method to evaluate the reliability of the node connection;(2) using fracture mechanics theory to analysis stable condition of the weld under the normal work;(3) combined with software simulation and experimental measurement data, Analyzing the joint’ failure mode and ultimate bearing capacity under the action of tension, compression, shear;(4) Through the test, analyzing the flexural behavior and Semi-rigid connection stiffness of the joint.The main research achievements are as follows:(1) joint of the disk lock steel tubular scaffold present self-locking in normal conditions, which proved the reliable connection;(2) half width of the weld initial crack is less than the critical value, so the crack doesn’t spread and is always stable In normal working condition;(3) through software simulation, the joint’ failure mode and ultimate bearing capacity under the action of tension, compression, shear coincide with the test, which proved the correctness of the finite element models;(4) the limit moment of the joint and rigid of the semi-rigid connection, in normal state,was given in this paper.
