MSR(Moisture Separator Reheater) system is an important component in conventionalisland of nuclear power plants, which can improve the working conditions of low-pressurecylinder, reduce the steam humidity in the low-pressure cylinder, make the steam turbinework better, increase the turbine relative efficiency, prevent and reduce the corrosion toturbine components caused by the wet steam. If the MSR does not work, the high-pressurecylinder exhaust will directly go into the low-pressure cylinder and make work. This willcause the exhaust humidity in the last level of low-pressure cylinder around24%, which farexceed the allowable value, bring a serious erosion of turbine blades, affect safe operationof the unit. What’s more, for losing the reheating of the two reheat systems, the economicperformance will be weakened. So the research and analysis in the dynamic characteristicsof MSR are useful, especially for increasing the safety and economic of the units. At thesame time, as an important part of the two-loop system, people have a less simulation studyfor MSR. In another word, the research also has an important engineering significance.After consulting the numerical simulation algorithm of MSR, this dissertation made amathematical model and calculated the moisture separate efficiency. On account of thecorrugated plate in separator has an effect for separation efficiency, the article optimized themathematical model. Through studying the modeling simulation method of lumpedparameters and distribution parameters, this paper established a multi-node MSR dynamicsimulation model. This model considered the flow state, surface conditions, the workingfluid properties, structure, metal wall heat capacity and other factorsUsing the parameters of Dayawan900MW pressurized water reactor MSR, asteady-state verification of the model above has been executed. At the range of relative errorless than1%, the calculation results and the design value can reach the simulation precision.Using this model, a study of dynamic simulation on the separator has been done. thedynamic performance of the MSR under different conditions, reduced of exhaust, singlestage exhausted and have been studied also. The results show that, the model built in thispaper can reflect the dynamic characteristics of MSR in specific conditions, meet the basicengineering requirements for real-time simulation analysis.
