Diesel electronic fuel injection (EFI) refers to electronic-controlled diesel fuel injection system, whose fuel injection time and amount are controlled by computer. As a representative core component technique of cars, diesel EFI technique plays a decisive role in the development of the whole auto industry.Founded in2009, AB Company is a high-tech enterprise engaged in R&D, manufacturing, and marketing of diesel EFI products in China. As the implementation of national environmental protection regulations is being gradually strengthened, diesel engine EFI market will welcome its development summit, and this industry will undergo another reform. Facing with huge market prospect and severe competition, AB Company needs to continuously enhance its competitiveness. Meanwhile, through the construction of the diesel EFI capacity expansion project (phase two), it plans to become a diesel EFI product supplier with advanced production and R&D capacity by the end of the "twelfth-five-year"(namely2015).Risk management plays a very important role in project management. By applying the project management knowledge that obtained at school, and by combining the actual situation of diesel EFI industry and AB Company, the author analyzes the risk management of the capacity expansion project (phase two) in AB Company from its decision stage, construction stage, to operation stage, aiming at exploring a way to recognize, analyze, reply, and supervise the possible risks at each stage of the project as a whole, thus ensuring the successful implementation of the project.This paper is divided to six chapters.Chapter one is introduction. This chapter illustrates the research background and significance of the capacity expansion project (phase two) in AB Company, and it also proposes the thinking and method of this research.Chapter two is the overview of project management and of project risk management. It introduces the concept and connotation of project management and project risk management respectively, thus laying foundation for the discussion about the risk management on capacity expansion project (phase two) in AB Company.Chapter three is the overview of AB Company and diesel EFI capacity expansion project (phase two). It introduces the general condition of AB Company, and briefly introduces the R&D center and production plant for the construction of diesel EFI capacity expansion project. Meanwhile, it proposes some risks and problems that may possibly obstruct the success of capacity expansion project (phase two), as well as the risk management plan.Chapter four is risk identification and analysis of diesel EFI capacity expansion project (phase two) in AB Company. This chapter offers the connotation of risk identification aiming at the capacity expansion project (phase two) in AB Company, and establishes a library for risk events through risk identification. Meanwhile, it conducts quantitative analysis on project risks on the basis of this.Chapter five are some suggestions to deal with the risks for diesel EFI capacity expansion project (phase two) in AB Company. Based on chapter four, this chapter puts forward some response plans for major risks at each stage of the project, and formulates risk control plans.Chapter six Last word. This chapter summarizes the risk management research, put forward the deficiency of the study and prospect.Through this paper, author hopes to find out the strengths of AB Company, as well as the problems and causes that may obstruct the successful implementation of capacity expansion project (phase two), so as to adopt strengths and avoid shortcomings by rationally utilizing limited resources inside and outside the company. The author proposes reasonable suggestions for the development of the project, and for the reference of high-level leaders when they are making decisions. With all these efforts, the author hopes to make a due contribution to the successful implementation of capacity expansion project (phase two), as well as the, comprehensive, healthy and sustainable development of this company.Due to limited knowledge of the author, there may be some mistakes or shortcomings in this paper. Therefore, I would like to earnestly invite respected teachers to make corrections and give guidance.
