Research On The Design Of Residential Lighting Environment

In recent years residential lighting design has received widespread attention, itsdevelopment to today, is not only a simple item which can meet the basic needs of humanfoundation, but also the material conditions improving people’s lives and promoting economicsocial and cultural development. Household lighting environment quality’s fit and unfitinfluence to people’s psychological and physical health seriously. A good household lightingenvironment is the necessary guarantee to improve physical health, mental state of sufficientand high quality life. With the deepening of the research, the design of household lightingapplications and people’s influence on the space become the focus of attention and research.Namely under the premise of meeting the functions, paying more attention to health, comfort,safety, aesthetics, energy-saving requirements, implement technology and art fusion.Lighting and visual space is a mutually dependent and inseparable unity. Therefore,residential lighting design should achieve the integration of the design space. As a startingpoint, the ordinary household lighting integration research and design was discussed. Theresearch is based on five aspects which are household space function and environment ofcomfort, occupant’s physical and mental health, artistic of different environment atmosphere,safety and convenience of lighting equipment utility, energy saving sustainability. Bycombining literature review, field test, actual investigation, theoretical analysis and softwaresimulation ways, the design method for residential lighting were studied. The main workincludes:1. Residential lighting situation of parts areas in China has been surveyed. Then theresults were compared with the survey of Japanese. Through the contrast, the differencesbetween two countries were concluded, and analysis residential lighting levels, existingproblems, people’s subjective consciousness and subjective evaluation to the lighting level.2. Through analysis from literature review and investigation results, the initial factorsimpacting on household lighting design were concluded. Then adopting by expertquestionnaire method, the preliminary factors were analyzed and evaluated. Using FuzzyDelphi Method for calculation and selection, a series of integration evaluation index, were set and the corresponding applications in practice design were analyzed.3. Getting through the actual investigation and theory analysis, the scientificalness andcomfort above the residential design had been analyzed and lighting schemes were proposed.It was discussed from the selection of light source, the choice of lamps and the problem ofoptimal placement, the projection effect and so on.4. After the design of household light environment, related evaluating parameters weremeasured, including illuminance, uniformity ratio of illuminance and glare by usingspecialized design software. Finally3D lighting effect was given.
