With the development of science and technology, and the improvement of people’s material and cultural life, the private car is gradually going into the ordinary family. The city’s existing car ownership is increasing dramatically, in crowded urban areas, the contradiction between the number of parking spaces and demand has become increasingly prominent. Urban public parking lot is increasingly unable to meet the growing demand for parking, and parking problem has become the bottleneck that is restricting the management and economic activities in our cities work. How to meet the owners’vehicles parking demand has become a hot issue that needs to be addressed. It is necessary to construct the scientific, standardized, systematic smart parking lot. In recent years, the using of new technology such as Internet of Things in smart parking lot get a large-scale development.The main work of this thesis is as follows:(1) Researched and analyzed the background, situation at home and abroad, and development trends of Smart Parking System. Researched the system functional requirements, and designed the overrall system structure;(2) Researched and analyzed Parking space detection program, designed and realized real-time detection hardware solutions for parking spaces based on ZigBee wireless sensor networks and modulated infrared detection technology, and realized embedded software related development;(3) Researched and analyzed user identification program, designed and realized RFID users identification system based on RFID radio frequency identification technology, and realized related database search functions in the central control system.(4) Researched and analyzed Parking existing hardware facilities, including Barrier systems and LED display system. Proposed the open source hardware raspberry pie as the system core-based Distributed Control System. Integrated various components from entire parking management system, and designed multi-system collaboration solutions based on ethernet database;(5) Researched and analyzed Intelligent Berth Guidance System related algorithm, and realized algorithm transplant in open source raspberry pie Linux system. With integrated LED display system, realized intelligent route guidance, which helps drivers find free parking space quickly according LED screen guide.This thesis provides an integrated information service applications system for parking lot to achieve the goal:improving the parking lot utilization effectively, facilitating vehicle’s parking accurately and effectively, and reducing the management and operating costs of parking lot.
