Along with the progress of the times, economic development, Automobile increase,people’s awareness of safety of traffic has improved. In this paper, the vehicle headlamp tester calibrator system lamps were studied, in order to ensure the performance of standard lamp.Introduce a headlight tester calibrator verification system based on silicon photoelectric detector as the core. Research the measuring principle and method as calibrator lamp detector. The optical imaging system based on area array CCD device acquires the images of the spot of standard laser light source and makes the spot digitized. Use image processing based on Lab VIEW software to deal with the light spot image information. Find the geometric center spot. By the geometric relationship between the linear displacement and angular displacement determines the optical axis angle. Establish database according to the corresponding relations between spot pixel gray value and spot illumination value, establish database. Furtherly analyze the intensity and uniformity. In order to achieve better image quality, we choose a diffuse reflective glass beads projection screen as the projection screen of the system. The use of advanced computer software platform LabVIEW design control software system, implement the calibration function and the man-machine interface of information exchange. The cost is reduced, the development cycle is shortened, simultaneously greatly reduces the difficulty and the development cycle. The verification process using digital means, no one factor, with the advantage of high accuracy, high repeatability, high intelligent degree etc.
