As the excellent performance of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in the battle, it is widely applicated in modern military war more and more. In the research filed of the UAV, UAV recovery has been an important issue in the course of its development for many countries in the world. Although the technology to the foreign country in this field is already mature, the domestic UAV recovery technology is weak. This paper was based on the the actual project, which being developed for UAV recovery system in the millimeter-wave angle and distance measuring key technology for a more in-depth and detailed discussion.This paper mainly focus on measuring angles and distance of the system. In the process of angular measuring, using sum and difference patterns of amplitude dual-plane monopulse and sum and difference patterns of phase dual-plane monopulse, through these two methods to achieve the mission of measuring and verify the accuracy of the system. Ranging mainly analyzes the composite pseudo-code and regenerative properties of pseudo-code, developed a complex pseudo-code ranging programs and construct a new code based on JPL1999complex code sequence, analyze the performance of the same through the coarse and fine measurement distance on the accuracy of the system has been verified. Finally, part of the system hardware block diagram and physical map, as well as part of the testing process simulation results.Through hard-working, I have more in-depth study about the angle and distance measurement techniques of the UAV recovery system. The contents of this paper support to shipboard UAV recovery and shipboard radar guidance system for a theoretical reference and technical reserves.
